The month of November, one cool-weather day. I was looking at the comments on my last Facebook post where I asked my followers ‘what is your experience with God?’.
Many people came forward to share their thoughts, some had happy feelings to share while some denied the existence of God and called Him fake, fiction, or illusion. I had positive vibes for each one of them, no matter what their beliefs are.
As a science believer, I have always preferred ‘experiences through experiments’ method. I never trusted anyone’s opinion about anything until I sought my own experiments so that I could grab first-hand conclusions. The same logic goes with my relationship with God.
Science is a discipline. Oxford dictionary has defined science as — the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. And spirituality is science. It is an intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the inner world through observation and experiment. Yes, inner world.
Unlike scientific experiments that happen in the lab in a concrete way, spiritual experiments are abstract. You are the sole researcher and the one who derives the conclusion. But you are bound to follow the process.
Someday I would talk about my spiritual experiments and conclusions. And you are more than welcome to do so. Or whatever story you want to share with us.
Till then, here you check the Facebook post I was talking about. Feel free to drop a comment if you wish to. Click here to go to the post.
